Things to do on plane with your Child

Things to do on the plane with a child
* Post-it notes
* Paper clips (they can be linked together to make shapes, bracelets etc
* Colouring in books
* Colouring in pencils or pens
* Notebook that child can draw in
* Stickers - the smaller the better ... Brandi spent nearly all of one flight taking these small stickers & putting them in her book
* A small magna-doodle
* If you sent a photo album to child, then bring that on the plane so you can look at the photos together
* Books to read together (ones with animals are really good)
* Paper dress-up dolls
* Other small toys
We also took a chuppa chup lollipop (they last longer than the flat lollipops), pebbles/m&m's (which are good because you can point out all the colours - and they are small, so you spread them out), also mini marshmellows (once again, small - you don't want a hypo child on the plane - lol!).
* A little mirror for the child to look at
* Some people take laptops so the children can watch dvd's

I hope this small list helps with a few ideas. Ideally you child will be like Brandi & sleep most of the way on the longer flights, but there are no guarantees of that of course, so it's best to be prepared. Happy travelling.
